decided to give them a second chance to make it right, swapped out those crap speakers for some hertz esk's all I can say is it's such an improvement. feels like its worth the money now I'd definitely recommend the hertz
Next step is to get a sub to match it. I want to do a stealthy boot build with the sub box using the spare wheel well with the two amps either side (the profile for the hertz and i might buy the genesis profile sub for the sub )
I'm thinking of having the false floor completely flat but then a pull strap or something in the centre which will then show the sub and amps in a recess
Found out that the new keskin I ordered is the wrong offset. When I first bought the set I ordered et25 for the rear and et35 for the front. I checked my front wheel that is still ok and it turns out the front offset is actually 20 lol. Hopefully I can ring up the guy and sort something out
Wow that install is shocking!
I have fitted all my audio myself and I think if thats a profetional serivce I should start up shop haha!
Get a Diamond D3 or D6 mine sounds really nice with the Hertz components
What amp are you looking at for the sub?
Was looking at a genesis profile sub to match the other amp I got. can get them for a decent price on the bay.
Hmmm I'll have a look at those subs, it'd either be one of those or a hertz one
Yeah it was cheap because the clips for the valance is a bit damaged, easy fix. There aren't any reflectors (getting smoothed out anyway) and there are 2 small breaks which can be filled so works out really. I'll take some pics now
Also what's the best sort Of stuff to fix it? Was just thinking some good superglue to hold the valance, but what sort of filler etc.?
I've actually filled in the right reflector, didn't realise one tin would only do one side, will finish it tomorrow. sand it down, sort out the valance and spray it gloss black and then get a respray sorted
just realised there's a cut-out for a zorst.. oh no I guess I'll have to get a new tip then! what a shame
i love the front bumper i was i could find one going for a good price really makes your car. the keskins look very good aswell i hope to be getting a set for my winter wheels here in the next couple of weeks!
