I dont know too much about throttle bodies so please forgive my ignorance and correct me if im wrong about anything but whats the deal with using bike throttle bodies on cars?
Ive done a bit of research and it seems a pretty common way of putting on throttle bodies cheaply and apparently many dont need any extra management (stardard without AFM or something?) and if they do need management you can use something called Megasquirt that seems to be a cheap way of setting up the management yourself.
Found a few interesting things too like THIS ONE with a Honda using Suzuki GSX-R throttle bodies and THIS SITE with information on loads of different bike throttle bodies that could be used.
So its starting to look too easy. So if you get a cheap set on ebay that will not need expensive management with a similar spacing, diameter and get a machinest to make up a basic inlet manifold or something then that would be it pretty much?
Finally would it be possible at all to put them on an 8v gti and what sort of gains could be had?
