Hello guys

I picked up my black 57 plate cupra up last night, car is totally standard (not for long) for now which is doing my head in lol.

Today I've ordered some eibach sport line springs as well as a Neuspeed P-Flow induction kit so they'll be on hopefully over the weekend.

What I'm wanting is- does anyone have any pics of a black cupra preferably lowered with either gloss black rims or dark grey-anthracite etc

My cars booked in @ my local custom paint/body shop (JH-pro paint) on the 12th of May.

I've told the guy there I want my wheels and wing mirror covers painting dark grey..... He's recommend Audi Daytona Grey.

I'm still debating to go for the ultimate moody look and get gloss black rims.

Also this is my 1st petrol Leon, I've owned x2 mk 2 fr Tdi's previously (one stage 2 shark mapped).... As well as a charged and turbo'd civic, I got to say even standard it's pretty nippy!

Cheers guys

This is mine. Due to be lowered in next few weeks

Not black, it will be too much and you'll never be able to show off the wheels

Sometimes I think black on black looks good, but sometimes looks crap when the tyres kinda look grey instead of black

I agree it can look good either way but not very often as the wheels need to be just right and a feature in them self. Otherwise it all just blends into one and the effect is lost. The guy on here that's just broke up the black golf had the all black looking good

A few pics from Google. Hope the owners don't mind but will give you an idea of what I mean. No offence to anyone that's got these as its just my opinion/taste an I'm sure many will have their own views different to mine.

Smart but missing something

Looks cool

Nice contrast

Too much, blended into one, can't distinguish the wheels.

Doesn't look right

Out of these I would say the second one but it does have bigger wheels so it helps

First of all thanks guys.

I had a night hawk black type r with gloss black evo 8 Enkei's which looked ace..... That's why I was tempted to do it again with my black Leon.

To be fair thought, I don't think it would go with the Leon..... I think im 99% set on the audi Daytona grey..... Should look nice with matching wing mirror covers

I'm off to exhaust uk Saturday morning as well..... There gonna take a quick look at my motor and then book me in for a 3" turbo back.... De-catted with silenced mid pipe. Might get the. To heat wrap the down pipe as well..

Then it's gonna get booked in at statller for a stage 2 map.

Can't believe how tuneable the 2.0 TSi lump is.

Looks smart, a good example of all black, but only looks good when spotless.

Should see if someone can photoshop the colours for you. Take a side view of your car and upload it

Thanks mate

As you say only looked good when clean.

Once I've got the lowering spring on, I'll get someone to try and photoshop both colour combos.

Well folks

I decided on audi Daytona grey in the end.

Car goes into the body shop on Monday to get the wheels refurbed and the wing mirror covers will also be sprayed audi Daytona grey. Oh and I'm also getting the cupra badge sprayed the same.

Got the eibach sportlines on today which makes the ride height look LOADS better, doesn't look like it's sat on stilts anymore.

Will get pic's up of the new look soon as it's sorted.
