Black Grill Surround

Hi All,

Really want to have a black grill surround on my FR, as standard there chrome.

What is the easiest way to achieve this?

Stripping the chrome and re-spraying, wrapping, plasti-dip.

I know the Cupra and Boc comes with the black grill surround but these seem hard to come by.

Also the seat badges front and back what is the best way to change colour on these?

I had both my badges and the grill surround wrapped. Didn't do it myself had someone do it but it looks great IMO. Mine is a pre facelift, but should be the same whatever model yours is really. Here's some pictures

Ive just bought some plastidip and am going to spray my badges and lettering tonight so ill let you know how that goes!

The FR Black comes with a black grill?

Im sure it'll be a dealer part?

I cant see that been cheap to pick up, also mine is a pre-facelift so not sure the grill will fit.

Think be easier to either plasti-dip or wrapped.

I asked Dave from SERE and I'm sure it was over £70 just for the surround from the FR Black.

Think I may look at costs for wrapping the grill surround and front and rear badges.

Not paying £70.00 just for the surround.

Anyone know someone local to Notts that does vinyl wrapping??
