The wer looks so good on these. My cars lower than yours bud and it clears 99% of speed bumps and never has any issues with multi stories so you'll be fine.

Can't wait to see what the wheels will look like fitted.

That's good to know. Was a nightmare on the lcr. I raised mainly as the front tyres would rub at high speed corners. The car is lower than it appears on the photo. The road has a curve so raises one side when parked up.

Just got back from our first family holiday, imogen also had her first birthday while away so that was pretty special :)
When i got home i had this beauty waiting for me. Apr hpfp

Got this fitted the same day. I can notice a difference already in torque in the midrange.

I also got my new bola b1 wheels fitted. I love them but taking photos of them are difficult, not sure if it the colour. Anyway in the flesh they look very impressive.

Thanks for looking

Such a nice car!

Don't suppose you can remember how much the head unit was? And is it still living up to the reviews?
Also how is the intercooler? Still running like new? I don't really feel like paying £500ish for a brand name one..

Hey dude. The head unit was around £220 iirc. It's been worth every penny. No problems at all. I even swapped out the oem fitted aux button for a oem USB button and fitted to the head unit. Keeping everything looking original.

The intercooler has been spot on. Making good power on rolling road day, all in my next big update :)

Sweet man! Look forward to it.
Don't suppose you could link me to where you got the head unit? Can't seem to find it anywhere !
Cheers,
Shane

Hello all, long over due update. I won't bore you with too many words so will just add photos and small descriptions.

Firstly since the last update I attended gti international. Had a great time with the vag tuning guys. So much so I drove back up the second day.

Next up just a few pieces I ordered up and fitted. Not in order but you get the idea.

Helix uprated clutch from Alex at aks tuning.

Carbon fibre scuttle panel, nice rare piece.

One of my favourite mods. Liquid gauge

Leaving me with a slight boost gauge issue, but there's always another option. Nomad pillar mount.

I then had the clutch fitted by 2 good friends of mine. Very straight forward with no dramas. I also did a oil change and oil filter change. Now running the thicker 5w40 oil that tuners are recommending. I also fitted the revo throttle pipe, sadly no photos but this now completes all the intercooler setup, fully uprated throughout.

Now one of the more exciting updates. I have a set of btcc side skirts being sprayed. I also bought this custom btcc rear bumper with lcr diffuser from a member on this forum. So now I'm on the hunt for a btcc front bumper, anyone know of one then please let me know.

Now all my mods are up together I have now booked into rt3ck for stage2+ extreme mapping on the 12th september. The extreme bit being mad torque by adding a rs4 fuel valve to the hpfp. This should see me into the 400ftlb

Rs4 valve on order aswell as oem dumpvalve. Spark plugs also arrived. Just insuring the car is tip top for mapping.

Next to follow is the rt3ck charity rolling road day

What a fantastic day. Very well planned event. Food and toilets setup and stayed the entire day. One of the first to arrive and last to leave. Met some great people, some of which I speak to a lot on social media but never face to face.
The day was a great success and raised £2500 for charity just by gathering a few petrol heads together.

I'm pleased with how my car performed. 282bhp and 309ftlb. Still running a stock map.
Can't ask for more than that.
Here is a few photos
