Blown CAT

Hi,

Just come back from Kwick Fit to be told that I have a blowing CAT. It really does sound FCUKED!

Now my quesiton is, with the car being a 2004, can i put a warranty claim in for a new CAT?

not sure on that m8
most warranties don't cover exhaust and cats as they are no serviceable items
but i would buy a race cat now
if u don't get replaced on warranty to go with ya s/s system u have

Kwick Fit quoted me £370 for a standard one.!!!! LMAO, Yeah Right!!

Can pick up a Milltek s/s high flow one for £299.

Claim fro it underwarrenty.

THis is a manufacturing fault a cat shoudl last over 5 years and about 60K miles.

If they say not push and push, get and engineers report detailing why it faided etc and then sue seat if you don't get anywhere after that.

I nearly had to do that before I got a new set of wheels due to poor paint finish

Yeah, was thinking of just booking it in @ Francis Seat just to see what they say. Got nothing to lose really.
