BLT Anti Shudder Valve

Has anyone removed it before? How have you removed the engine management light without sticking it back on? Just curious really . A friend suggested a resistor in the connecter but I wouldn't know what rating I would need!

Why remove the anti shudder valve ?

For me the anti shudder valve is the last safety device incase of a runaway engine - it starves the engine of air when shut to stop it running on.

If you are trying to remove the EGR then I thought they were separate on the BLT unit.

They are separate on the BLT, dark side do an EGR delete kit compatible with this engine, so no need to lose the ASV though it'd be easier just to close the valve off in the software and keep all the original hardware, but that's just my opinion

You'll have to replace it or get the DTC mapped out in the software.
