bluefin question

Hi have managed to get hold of an old bluefin hand set. I can get it sent away reset with new map on. But the question is, are the earlier 2.0 170 cr engine ECUs locked or just the older ones? mine is 59 (2009)

Superchips were in a bit of financial trouble a couple of months ago.

I would certainly be using a credit card to purchase anything off them.
