Cheers mate,no not yet,im just deciding witch way to do it and ive decided i like the look of the standard tail pipe so i will probably gain more from doing the front 1st

thing is you giving it a free flow but when it gets to the exhaust standard boxes it will hold it up

Putting a decat and downpipe in with standard cat back, you will see an improvement, as 1 restriction is better than 2 ;)

yes it will fit. you will pick up a cat back aswell for around 250 300 new. but the dp and decat will see a good improvement. although it wont run good with the decat to be honest. fueling will be all over the place and the turbo has no back pressure and doesnt run very good. any tuner or specialist will tell you this and they will run better with a high flow sport cat. get the decat and then a sport cat from hoffman and get it fabricated in very easy to do took me about 15 minutes. chop it and weld it in. less noise, less emissions problems, doesnt mess the fueling up. i know you will think it should run better being free flowing thats what i though untill i tryed it with it on, it actually felt slower. will run alot better than standard with that downpipe and sport cat :D

you can get the second lambda sensor mapped out with a revo 2 or custom code stage 2. just all down to what you think when its on but mine was slower and noticeable aswell. it just "sounds" faster because its louder. apparantly needs a bit of back pressure in the syste for the turbo

yes mate should mate up fine with it.

Save for the cat back system though, as it sounds sweet :)

well thats crap, the lambda sensor will detect the gases are the same at both sensors and adjust the fueling on the car to try and solve the problem it thinks it has. you can get a block that fits before the sensor the sensor then screws into this and shrouds the gases so less gases pass and it thinks the cat is doing its job. why would they offer to map it out if it wasnt needed..talk to midland vw or a vw mapping specialist like revo or custom code. the turbos which run best with decats are japenese things like subarus etc. our turbos in comparison are only smal and can spin too fast with little back pressure ive been told. And the standard cats arnt restrictive untill over 300bhp, just going on what ive been told.
