Hi guys

I've asked about this before but didn't get much response.

When I have my iPhone plugged into the iPod connection in the glove compartment it intermittently has an awful crackling when the person is talking to me. I've tried other iPhones and they also do it. I took it back to my set dealer which had it for day and couldn't find any problems. Huey changed the lead but has still done it???

Has anyone else had the problem..

Also if I unplug it during the call he crackle goes

Any help or other people with this fault let me know.

Cheers

Hi

It does it stationary as well. As soon as it is unplugged the crackle goes. It's a weird fault it's not like it all the time.

If its not all the time could it be something starting on the car causing inference, cooling fan or something else that comes on randomly as its required

Not quite the same, but I had a stereo amp in a car once that did the same, I cured it by clipping a rf choke round the rca lead
They are only a couple of pound so may be worth putting one on your iPhone lead & see if that stops it
