Good day to all.
I need some help please.
I am struggling to get my phone to auto-connect with the Cupra Formentor.
In my previous Seats (ibiza and Leon's) once paired the phone or phones (Samsung or Sony) would auto-connect as soon as the ignition was switch on.
Now I have to go into the bluetooth settings in the phone and connect from the phone bluetooth menu every time I switch on the cars ignition.
Phones are paired and listed on the info-tainment screen, bluetooth switch on.
Also have similar issues with Android Auto.
Any help as always appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hello,

I have exactly the same issue with my formentor.
I have an appointment at the garage next week for a software update. I will tell you if this fixes the problem.

Best regards

I don't have any issues with my phone (Samsung S7).

I'm commenting so you know it can work OK.

I really wish I could help more, I just paired my phone and it worked fine. Have you activated your account in the car? Perhaps it is connected to that?

I have 1803 version software on mine with activated account and I'm using one plus 8pro phone which pairs ok, streams music fine, syncs google map no problem but phone calls...froget it. It is very frustrating, I'm taking it to dealer next week for them to investigate that problem plus another issue (sos warning lights comes on intermittently). Will let you know if they fix it.

You have probably done this already but completly deleting your phone from the car and the car from your phone and then do a fresh connection sometimes sorts a Bluetooth issue.
