Hello!

Just bought a mk2 Leon FR today and im trying to get the bluetooth to work!

I have googled and searched forums for hours and i keep seeing the same steps to pair the phone to the car.

Turn on bluetooth
Turn on ignition
Scan for bluetooth
Find SEAT bluetooth name
Pair with code 1234

Only problem is both my phone (samsung galaxy note 4) and my girlfriends phone (samsung galaxy s5) cannot see any bluetooth devices when we scan.

Is it a compatibility issue or am i doing something wrong?

The car has the phone icon on the steering controls and the large MFD so as far as ive read the Bluetooth should be there and working?

Can anyone help?

If you have the Bluetooth module under you drivers seat?
If you do disconnect it for 2 mins and reconnect it. That will reset it.
Certain older modules need an antenna attached.
if you do have a module check the part number to see if it is comparable with your phone Model.
If you don't have the module What stereo do you have?

Regards

Darren

Cannot find bluetooth or the bluetooth module

Hi, I found this forum because I am having the same issue.
I just bought a second hand 2010 Leon FR.
I have all the controls on the steering wheel for a phone, but there is no menu or anything on the MFD.
I too have tried turning on the ignition but my phone does not find anything. a couple of times it's found something with no name, just a code like:
2h:3e:1d:xxxxx
but if I try to connect to it, it always fails to pair.
I've looked under both the drivers seat and the passenger seat but can't see anything like the unit I've seen in the pictures etc. online.

The radio is just a standard looking one, no colour screen or sat nav.

If I have the controls on the steering wheel, do I definitely have Bluetooth? Is there anything else I can check?
It seems odd that a car from 2010 wouldn't have it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

It sounds like your car does not have Bluetooth unfortunately. It was an optional extra on the 2010 FR.

With just the basic radio there would definitely be a Bluetooth module under the driver's seat if the car did have it.
