Pipercross do one for about £50 and k&n do one for about £40. I think I remember reading somewhere that foam flows better for longer compared to cotton so if you dont have time to clean it that often might be better with the pipercross

The difference between all panel filters will be negotiable, id go for the cheapest.

A full inudction kit is the way to go but expensive for a decent one.

Personally I wouldnt run open cone on these engines but spose thats personal preference.

this seems really inefficient at getting air into the engine. as it has so many more bends to go through.

That's why I'm looking at a smaller battery so I can fit the filter facing out towards the front of the car

I think my solution works well, everyone who tunes these cars is fully aware of the under bonnet temps, yes it will go through an intercooler but being as the standard one is pretty crap anyway pulling alot of hot air in wont help, id either go for a decent enclosed system or panel filter.

To be honest im dubious about tuning mine anyway, will be looking at changing shortly i think.
