Hi peeps, here is the story, coolant pump failed last week and car read a powertrain fault. Rang about, got quotes, took it to a VAG specialist in the end due to price quoted and I have my car serviced there. Car is a 59 reg Boc, garage ordered wrong pump and thus price went up, but still the cheapest. I got the car back today, garage closed as I left, look down and engine management light still on. Scanned the car with Bluetooth OBD reader and still got powertrain fault and no supercharger, but have turbo. The pump looks the same as the last and I know that the supercharger is fed via the water pump, all connectors are on and I haven't got a clue why it isn't working. Car is no longer in limp mode, but obviously down on power up to 3k revs when you feel the turbo spool up and kick in.
Any idea's as to what is up with it, already spent a good amount on getting it sorted, any idea's greatly appreciated as I don't like the car being ill.
