bonnet release cable

the leaver does not work and i cannot open the bonnet on my mk2 ibiza any help to open it please as need to get inside urgently

iv taken off the fog surrounds and the under bumper grill but cant seem to find away to open it? help please ideas

bonnet catch is at the top behind the grille and is 2 sections that join by the osf strut behind the air cleaner iirc, probably broken there

best bet is straight underneath and see if you can reach the cable from just behind the osf headlamp assy
