boost gauge

can anyone tell me how to stop the boost gague rattle before i smash the dam thing thanks

lol im looking into getting a boost gauge but your not the first person whos said about the rattle. thinking ill leave it and just get one of these LC diagnostic multi guage thingys. £200 but does everything. awesome bit of gear. http://racediagnostics.com/cms/

if your referring to what i think you might be you can get a 'no buzz' T piece that prevents it. think awesome might do them

yes , this is the no buzz "T" piece
That stops it from making the noise on petrol engines

Just got mine. Where is best to put it? Replace the T piece I have at the fpr or put it as close to the gauge as possible?

Is just a restricted hole that the hose to the boost gauge connects too?

Doesn't matter tbh replace it of the fpr i have found this one that would do the same job for cheaper, sorry.

I bought that excat one 2-3 weeks ago to cure mine rattling......works a treat and they come as a pack of 2, not that big tho I glued mine just to be on the safe side and have had no problems

Guys its cheap gauges that rattle. If you buy a decent autometer dampened gauge, it wont happen.

get a no buzz t peice, it restricts the flow of air to the gauge so doesnt allow the same volume of air through causing the problem but allows the same pressure through. just replace it with the t piece you have used already.

Guys its cheap gauges that rattle. If you buy a decent autometer dampened gauge, it wont happen.

But if you already have a cheaper gauge, that works fine except for the buzz/rattle, spend £2.60 to cure it rather more money on a new gauge.

Thats ok, I put them both in....one just in front of the T and the other just before it goes into the bulkhead, doesn't buzz at all now

Got a new guage on order to, hopefully be here monday

I put the No Buzz T piece on from Awesome and it does exactly what it says on the tin...no buzzing anymore. Great
