The risk you run with running a dual port valve is that it can throw the car into limp mode, it thinks it has a boost leak. If you set up the Turbosmart or Forge Split R correctly, you can avoid this but your car won't run as sweetly as it would with a fully recirculating valve (or the other two set to fully recirc mode).
Recirculating valves are designed to be quiet on a standard engine, as close to the quietness of an OEM valve as possible. However, once you start to modify other areas, you can make them pretty loud. You will achieve this by fitting an open cone air filter for one, a new turbo inlet pipe secondly and then by getting a remap. A remapped engine will produce alot more turbo pressure than one without a remap, this therefore will cause the DV to be louder.
By all means try out a dual port valve but if you want the best from you car performance wise, stick with the Forge that you have.
the car has a revo stage 1 re-map, well that's what the guy i bought the car off said and it has the revo plug thing
