hello,
i was reading a website last night that i now cannot find lol.Anyway it said something along the lines of "the 225 engine doenst like bov's as it depressurises the system and the ecu doesnt like it .Can anyone enlighten me on this please , do any of you use dump valves on your 225 engines and are there any issues ?
My engine will be run off a new standalone ecu so maybe this will go towards sorting the problem before it happens anyway but any info /experiences on the subject gratefully recieved thanks.

it wont like it as when it dumps externally, that air its dumped has been metered in, and fueled it to suit.. but is now more fuel than air, so rich.. and can cause stalling.

atmos dv on idle if not set right will also be an air leak.. with piston sucked open on idle manifold vacuum, and allowing unmetered air in.. which is lean.. and again stalling

generally avoid. stick with recirc. if you are after noise, an open induction kit etc will get you the woosh
