Bracket for Power steering Hose

Ello All,

I've just had my gearbox reconditioned and installed in a 2003 LCR. I foolishly didn't look under the bonnet before I took the car away as I was in a rush and had a long drive ahead.

Short of the long.

The hose that connects to the steering rack seems to be hanging around and is not secured. They have just left the bolt hanging and the hose which consists of hard and soft pipes is just resting on the alloy inter-cooler pipe in front of the gearbox.

Could anyone enlighten me where that should be attached as I can't see obvious place and I'm thinking they have left off a mounting bracket.

I'll get a pic as soon as I can.

There should be a bracket that bolts to the front of the gearbox that that pipe bolts to.

Its a right angled bit of metal with a captive nut on it.

thanks mate.

Yeah I guessed there was something missing as there really isn't anything for it to attach to.

I imagine that this bracket attaches to the the threaded stud underneath the starter motor.
