If the AP calipers are still available fromReyland (listed on ebay) as TVR calipers, then these were cheap as chips for new calipers..

"a pair of used Genuine Porsche Brembo 4 Piston Rear Brake Calipers, inc used pads to fit the Porsche 986 models 97-04.

They are Genuine Porsche & as can be seen from the pics are in good used cond complete with Brembo stamped on the calipers & the world famous Porsche script in white writing on the black calipers (just so everyone knows you mean business).

The calipers are fine as they are to be used straight away, as can be seen the front faces & Porsche script are in good condition far better than most we see. "

You can get any discs to fit any car, it's all down to the mountings, size and carriers.

for easiness go for the ones other have done as there are well trodden paths.

Try searching on MK1 Leon section for porsche calipers, these have been done a few times with good results.
Also LCR brembos, but depends on what sort of cash you have for this and how good you want your system to be

you want porsche 996 rears for easyness of fitting mark

part numbers 996.352.421 and 996.352.422

i have these on mine with ds2500 rear pads for the porsche calipers and ebc plain 312mm discs with braided goodridge vag to brembo hoses work very well

youll need custom carriers, hoses, pads, pad shims, these fit strait onto 312mm oem size discs with no issues.

brakes

my cupra tdi has got a 312mm cupra r upgrade on it,not brembo but the standard type caliper, drilled and grooved discs with ebc yellowstuff pads,a very good system, works well on my car,got to be much cheaper than buying the slightly larger brembo set up

Add some brackets - £120
Hi,
Do you know if AP can provide brackets for AP caliper for mk1 Leon?
Or you mean that the brackets must be custom made?
I'm having a lot of dificult to get a set of Seat Sport AP Racing calipers for my self :(
I found ones, I think is for the new Leon, and sure they will need brackets.
