Hi all. I had thought about changing and putting Porsche front brakes on the car. I know what I need to change etc. but wanted to know can I put my old front brakes on the back of the car. Thanks all d1n93r

you will struggle as the handbrake is ncorporated into the rear caliper, so you would loose that, unless you plumbed in a hydraulic handbrake assembly. but that may cause MOT issues.
 
No, the rears have a sprung leaver which the cable attaches to which pushes the piston out when you pull on the hand brake, the fronts don't have anything like that or anything you could adapt, not sure what car you have but assuming its a Cupra you could fit LCR rears on, which are bigger you would need the calipers, carriers and discs and they will bolt straight on.

No, and why would you want to? The front brake system would be massively overpowered for the rear wheels.

As has been said above, you need handbrake actuation on the rear wheels. This has to be completely separate from the footbrake hydraulic actuation. The standard method adopted on the Mk.4 Golf (and most other front-wheel drive cars) is to have a mechanical linkage to the rear pistons from the handbrake lever. The linkage self-adjusts by means of a screw-threaded rod in the rear piston, which is why you need to wind the pistons back in when you change pads.
