Brakes discs and pads....

Hi guys,

I wanna spruce my brakes up a bit, can't really afford a big brake upgrade, so would need to keep stock calipers.

So was wondering would something like Red stuff pads, would the fit in my Leon TDi 110 SE 51-plate stock calipers?

If so, which come recommended, as I know from my searches that the different colour pads relate to different levels of performance, like Green is more for track??

Also any recommendations on new discs???

Would I get a change in performance from new pads and discs alone?

ferodo ds2500s mate, not sure if they do a fitment for stock tdi calipers, badger 5 is your man for this one.

yes you will get an upgrade in braking performance, better discs and pads.

Why not upgrade to 312mm.....carriers, calipers, pads & discs - not too expensive and much better braking

you wont need to upgrade calipers and get bigger discs.

ebc pads have mixed reviews. green are better than standard road pads. red are fast road/track pads and yellow stuff are primarily track pads (as far as im aware)

i opted for ferodo ds2500 pads and they are a million times better than standard pads. ok im using them with LCR brembo discs and calipers but the pads are mint so i expect you will notice the same benefits just upgrading pads.

try this first then look at discs if you want after.
