It's out of warranty unfortunately - I contacted SEAT UK who have suggested I contact the dealer for them to investigate, so that's what I'll be doing I guess.
What other bits is it likely to have taken out with it? (Apart from my cooling fan which has been smashed to bits by flying chunks of engine block).

If your cooling fans is gone the I would have thought the radiator and perhaps the power steering system might be damaged too. Your water pump is very close to the damage aswell.
