good pics guys
2 qestions , how do you get to yours to drain it?
and Blade is that your boost tap point i see?

2 options for draining.
Simply lift the cannister out of its holder. There is enough flex in the pipe to do it.
However there,s plenty of room underneath mine so i intend just putting a small dish underneath and draining it that way.

Yep, i have Forge boost 3 way boost tap as i have just fitted a lovely Stack gauge. Got sick of not been able to get a boost reading on RR days. This way they can just tap into it - easy peezy:)

Simon,

Cheers mate, the Leon doesn't have the bolt you used on your Altea to support the bracket for the catch can so I had to drill a couple of small holes. No big deal though lol.
I hope that the springs are in for the 18th as well mate.

robdf2,

I will drain my catch can in the same manner as blade has described. Pull it up slightly and get a small bowl or a plastic container underneath it.

Not another **** up
Look on the bright side though mate, atleast you have actually received something. Im still waiting!

got mine and its on, i really wanted to hide the bracket under the wing but if you do that the canister sits too low, I thought you could put a pipe on the base unscrew it a little and drain it off??? I'm probably going to swap the hoses on mine to red - rob if your reading this SFS do yellow ;) Oh and has anyone else notice a slight smeel of oil ? i'm not 100% sure the manifold has sealed against the head, it should do as the gasket was more tha thick enough but i'm not sure it pulls down cleanly when being bolted on.

lol lol
i knew i could count on you to help me out mate ;)
you got links?

will be putting mine on this weekend as long as the weather holds.

Forge also sells a catch can kit any difference when i looked at the 2 they look about the same i think the kit with forge is more expensive though i think i'll order one pretty soon...

Well its on, fitted this afternoon. The idle does appear to be better and the engine sounds a little quieter or smoother running at least.

I only got 3 jubilee clips with the kit  But we managed to find one of suitable size to take its place.

Engine cover goes back on just fine for those wondering if your running sans intake, if you route the pipe work accordingly of course.

Emptied mine after 600 miles and got 20ml of dirty brown liquid out of it.

I emptied a good 10ml out of mine today after only around 150 miles so its obviously doing its job, maybe more so in the cooler damp weather we're seeing of late.
