Yes Tom got 5th, was a good drive kept himself out of trouble. Shame about the Golf, but it'll take time to get the gremlins ironed out. Hopefully they will get some better results this afternoon.

Initially after about 2 laps it spun, they brought it into the pits and changed tyres according to the BTCC twitter feed. Then they have gone out again done a few laps and then its coasted to a stop at the start finish line.
Thruxton is a tough circuit though and is renowned for punishing cars, hard on engines hard on tyres. I don't believe at any time AmD thought it would be easy competing in the BTCC. Early days yet.
