Not sure how to copy a link using an iPad but do a search for 'DRL Relay' and it will come up for you. The ones are about £9.97 and are blue in colour. They are probably all the same but you can select or search for a Seat one.

thanks buddy, found it :)

Also, you may not notice that hte DRLs are dimmed 50% at night.
So while you are allowed to have both DRLs and headlights on at the same time at night...the DRLs are just not allowed to be full brightness.
You just wouldn't notice they're not full brightness at night because 100% brightness during the day looks like 50% brightness at night...does that make sense?

Some more links to options from a colleague:

Amazed to see these linked to on here! I actually happen to be the same seller of these LED's and had registered earlier this month looking for info on the Ibiza FR!

They can be got separately from the mounting bar in any number (the bar is made to size for the civic) and looking at the Leon looks like they would be a perfect fit into the vents.

If someone could measure the gap between the vents it'd be interesting to know if they would fit...

One taken from about 15meters away to show the brightness (for comparison the car has 25-SMD-LED sidelights which are way brighter than standard 501 bulbs)

The vents are about 12mm but there is one (second from the top I think) just above the top fin, if that makes any sense, which is 10mm.

Hope that helps.

Did you get the DRL control unit installed okay Rob? Also any luck finding a better power source?

Not had chance to fit it!...was in Cardiff on a stag do at the weekend and the wife is on the hen do this weekend so need to look after the toddler. Might try and fit it next weekend but it looks straight forward.

I tried every fuse with the multimeter and all are live apart from a couple!....I contacted SeatUK and they were as much use as a chocolate teapot! The only other way is to send the cable to the fuse on the side of the dash as there will be a spare location there which is only live with the ignition.

The LED's I have are 25mm in diameter at the base, guess they won't fit into the vents then?

I don't think so...they may go 'behind the vents' and shine through but not within them. This is the reason why I searched for the lights I've put and made sure they were no more than 11mm in diameter with the specific 10mm glass covers as I knew they would fit.

That's a shame, my LED's are perfect for using as DRL's as they have the Lens and wiring already in place. Ah well.

Think this is a mistake. When I needed to order some extra I noticed this price. Then it corrected to the original price. Best to keep an eye on it, mine all arrived today.

is the quality ok? The zoomed in picture on eBay looks like the soldering is a bit wonky and 2nd-rate. But as long as it works and it's all solid, I'm happy.

Mine are still going strong...you don't see it once they are behind the vents and covered in silicone! ;) Still need to but the 50% dimmer control on though...might have time over the bank holiday!

Anyone had any luck finding a better power source and a different way to cover the rear of the bulbs? I should finally have all the parts together by end of week so gonna get this sorted soon :)

Not yet but mine are still fine. I think the only other way is the internal fuse at the side of the dash.

As you don't see the back of the lights why worry about how they look?...out of sight, out of mind, as the saying goes! :D

Curious about this one. Generally the reviews are good but there are some "this sh1t don't work" reviews

Well I can't seem to get the Genlabs to work. I've wired them up correctly as far as I'm concerned and the drl's work but no dimming or even turning off when I follow the guide.

Not sure if I've connected the cable to the correct light positive. It's number 2 (blue/red) on the passenger wiring loom.

 what now?
