Bucket seats V2

Morning

Well I ordered a V2 the other day and everything’s went through but I am concerned about the seats

Because of covid and restrictions I can’t go to the dealership that’s 40 miles away or if I could I wouldn’t be allowed to sit or test drive it

So when the car arrives I will go to the dealers and sit/test drive before everything’s finalised...they won’t tax it or click the “pay now button” on the finance application..I’ve been accepted for this already

Thing is I am 6 foot and 19 stone and was wondering just how tight those bucket seats are? And other larger gentleman driving one of these and find it ok?

I had a Toyota GT86 2 cars ago and found I was sitting on the bucket seats rather than in them...if that makes sense

Luckily I can walk away from the deal on the day but I really like this cars looks etc.

Suppose it’s a good opportunity to lose some weight

Height wise I don't think there is an issue, I am 6ft 2 and I fit in just fine. It was a short test drive, but didn't feel anything different than my Leon FR.

Weight wise I am average so I can't comment on whether seats fit too tightly. Comment Agnes.Surrey linked seems relatively strange, maybe the gentleman has extra long legs?

I wouldn't worry, I'm 6 foot and 18 stone and I don't have any problems with the bucket seats.

Don’t worry as I’m 6ft 5 and slightly heavier than you and I didn’t have a problem with the bucket seats when I test drove the Formentor! Like you I’m also trying to lose some timber that I’ve added during lockdown!

I’m 6’2” and 16.5 St mate and no issues, very comfortable
