Had my confirmation that my car was built last week. Dealer expects it 2nd to 3rd week of October.

Can't wait now

My car is a week 39 build and was finished build on Monday 26th. It will go on the next ship which is the 4th October.

Did CS tell you that ours built on Monday didn't make the Tuesday boat? They said to check back at the end of the week to see what's happening

How frequent are the boats. 1 every Tuesday? Or 1 every so many days.

The wait is dragging now

snap! lets see how long its sat in sheerness now before arriving at the dealer..:(

My dealer might and they said might be running a transporter down so may be able to have it tomorrow / Saturday.

Not sure if that's happening yet as they've not called me back to confirm.

Have you spoken to someone Jon (Jerome?) - just wondering if worth talking to them if our cars are possibly available for collection next week. Can you update possibly?

What dealer are you collecting yours from?

Yeah spoke to Jay, he rang to say my car was in the UK and could i go Monday to sign docs, then called 5 mins later to see if i could collect tomorrow / saturday if needed and sign paperwork today.

Not called me back so doubt that's an option now

Seat Birmingham, not looking likely now as they still haven't called :(

same place as me, i had an email saying "If the ship arrives during the working week, vehicles take on average 48 hours to be unloaded and enter the compound at port."

"Once scanned at the UK port our contracted Transport companies make arrangements to move the vehicle to the selling Dealer. A vehicle can remain at port for seven working days and can take another seven working days to reach the selling Dealer. "

so could take a while yet..

Dealer said they were taking it upon themselves to send a transporter down (possibility), presuming they are unloaded of the ship.

i have no contact with the dealer as mine is a private lease hire, so i only hear what information Seat CS have, getting impatient not knowing when i can pick her up!

You guys ain't got it bad! I ordered a Black from B4C online broker first week in August. Heard nothing for 6 weeks until I cracked last week and asked them to obtain the order number as they refused to divulge the dealer or any other information. They didn't get back to me. B4C based in Derby so i took the initiative and rang a few places up nearby and finally found the dealer with my details at Leicester SEAT. Got a snotty call last night from B4C saying that I shouldn't have done that independently and my order may be cancelled!!! Load of old bulwarks!

OK so just heard my order hasn't been cancelled but I am looking at around Christmas for delivery :( - pretty grim considering I ordered 1st week in August. Guess others are in the same boat.......Probably not the best metaphor to use as it implies the car has left Spain!

Wow that's an extra month they added onto your delivery. If it helps I've had an additional 3 weeks from the expected 12 weeks. Ordered 2nd week of July.
