Damn that doesnt sound good :( I hope mine is still on track for Mid Dec i only ordered a few weeks ago though.

I'm already chomping at the bit to get the car lol to make things worse i went on a work course earlier this week and the hire car was a Leon (not a Cupra) just made me want it even more :rolleyes:

Well mine was built on the 26th and will get the boat on 4th October - 8 days later!

Then you'll be wanting to take it after new year so it's a 2017 registration and be worth a little bit more!

Yes they did mention that...then we're getting close to facelift territory at this rate. I just don't know how I can wait this long. Completely obsessed. I look at the 360 degree of the Black on the Seat configurator everyday and have watched every conceivable English language review on Youtube a thousand times!

Wow tell me about it ! I thought I was the only one . I've also watched every single review of the 290 and even the 280 in every conceivable language at least 5 times each. The wait is killing me

Fave review is the red SC one. The guy is so enthusiastic about it even if it was on alpines.

How come they only ever test the dsg model though.

SEAT have just confirmed to me that my Monday 26th build made it on the Tuesday 27th ship - are you sure yours didn't too?

Might ring back tomorrow and double check, but she definitely said it'll be going on the ship on 4th October!

Is that the American guy with the strange accent? My favourite too. There is a German one thats pretty good too. Lets face it, they're all good!
 
Ordered on 19/7, was advised build week 39. Got an email today to say it's on its way to the UK :D

Only problem is I have my 184 until December :blink:

They've offered to hold it for me until I'm ready... but it sure is tempting to take it early

Not sure, I was not expecting the call, it came quite late in the day and I was more concerned that he said he was having difficulty with the lease papers or something, he calling me first thing so I'll ask
