Hi,
I have a problem, after having removed my Mib2, and replaced by a Chinese car radio, some difficulties to configure, but now, it is really pleasant to use, it is well above the Mib2, controls u steering wheel ok, telephone, voice command, video..ect...
but....
I had a loss of tire pressure, which I restored to normal pressure, but a defect appeared, but no possibility of erasing the defect with the new Chinese car radio, no menu for that!
I'm equipped to clear the fault with vcds, but a button would be more appropriate, it seems to me.
i'm looking to install a deflated tire reset button.
has anyone done this? wiring? button?
sensor in the tire or ABS sensor for detection?

thanks

hi,
it's worse than I thought!
after pressurizing all the tires, 2.4Bars on all 4.

i tried to clear the fault with vcds, i tried everything
impossible to clear the fault!
several attempts in different ways to clear the fault
with vcds, all failed!
if anyone has any ideas, i'm listening!
thanks

Sorry, No

you have ignored all warnings. I know the coding, but I do not take responsibility. Therefore, unfortunately, I will not say this. Apart from that, I wrote, make a full backup.

I think the adapter from China is junk and causes problems.

I also know (a bit about coding)
I always make a backup before doing anything!

it's amazing that you're so “upset” with Chinese hardware, admittedly I had a few difficulties at the start of the installation, because I installed everything with the help of foreign forums (German, Russian, etc.).
but now and for months it's really a pleasure this android auto! and I add that compared to the mib2, the mib2 is dropped!!! I can judge, it's me who did the test of both!
the fault I currently have is a deflated tire that I can't remove, I'll find the solution with vcds, the seller told me that a future firmware update will integrate this problem.
It's also true that reviews are quicker and easier.
in france, we have the best fighter plane in the world (the rafale), yet it was criticized the world over at first, but now everyone's scrambling to order it!
the american F35 is recognized by experts as a piece of **** without a name! even american experts recognize that it was a “failure”!
as for the chinese, they have a robot that walks on the moon, but we french have nothing like that! english, german, the same!
yes, the chinese often make crap, but now it's less true.

This isn't about Android or mib2 etc. This is about the fact that warnings have been issued. And now the point has been made. Do you think you are the only one with this experience? I don't have a problem with Chinese hardware.

but then it has to be good hardware. but good hardware costs a lot of money even from Chinese colleagues. I do all my retrofits with Chinese cable sets because the quality is 200% better. Cable color is 90% OEM.

ok ,,,...

well, I'm not about to get out of it!

the
button reset on my seat ateca doesn't exist, everything was done via the mib
was done via the mib2 (dismantled and replaced by the Chinese androidauto)
the salesman tells me that it will be corrected at the next firmware update....1 months...1 year...or more??..in short!

in
in the meantime, it's still surprising that the deflated tyre reset
doesn't exist via vcds? i've spent hours looking, nothing, no
info! (or dubious info...which I avoided because it was too risky)

(ABS 5Q0614517CE )

what I did, thinking I'd solve the reset problem, to no avail!

contact launched VCDS
-select
-03 ABS brakes
-04 Basic settings
in the drop-down menu: Reset tyre pressure indicator warning .....

answer error below !

yes, I tried 20103 and 24990, same thing, same error.
maybe it's what I did before that's no good?
1)selection
2)03 (abs)
3)16 (security code)...???

seriously, you do a basic setting and then use access codes for something else?

I'm not “familiar” with vcds, I had a peugeot and often used diagbox, vcds is new to me.
well, you seem to have understood my mistake?
I'm listening?

Please don't misunderstand me, if you don't know anything about it, you should stay away from control units like the ABS... You just need to read what it says. Why don't you set the security code for basic settings if you want to carry out a basic setting?

To make it short and simple, I don't understand why, with vcds, a simple reset of a deflated tyre is impossible?
I know that if I go to a VW shop and they pluck me
by 200 or 300€ they will remove the defect without any problem!

I also have the solution of reassembling the mib2, erase the defect and reassemble the new android .... but I prefer to stay like that!

yes vcds bought on the net, clone (poland)

NO ,..? why so much ‘mystery’ if you can see what needs to be done to solve this problem?
so, the only answer is :
clone bin !
(bought in Poland during a business trip)
bin radio!
while the bin is next door, I jump in too
problem ‘solved’?

Seems to a bit of an oversight leaving out the tyre pressure reset. ? Explains why @East Yorkshire was chuckling and said these units were rubbish earlier up. There seem to be good reports of the car play / Android Auto boxes that add onto the existing mib1/2 units without throwing the rest away. Perhaps it was that, that would have been better for you. Those units get talked about on the Seat and Briskoda sites of recent, just a box of tricks.
