Hi everyone.

At the end of month I'm going to be selling my Ibiza.

When I bought it it was completely standard, still is apart from the K+N 57i kit to improve throttle response.

So a few questions.

1. Would you rather buy one of these cars with the standard filter in place, or one with the 57i kit on, i Could of course supply both, but if someone was going to be put off by the filter, I may aswell remove it and ebay it.

2. The car has a full service history, and is not due a service. However, I always change the oil and filter on my cars every 3-4k, I've just done myself this so would you include the reciept for the oil and filter in the s/h, or is this a bit pikey?

3. A friend was making a track car out of his mk3 cupra, so I bought the steering wheel and airbag out of it as its not better looking and better to hold than the mk2 item, all the wiring was direct swap, the airbag light completes its check process as usual, so would this change put you off? I kept the old airbag unit from the old one as proof that it wasn't changed because it was crashed.

4. The car is due tax at the end of the month, so would you stick 6 months on it before advertising, or try and negotiate this in as part of the deal with the new seller?

5. The car has MOT until July. Would you guys bother putting it through another test so you could sell it with 12 months on? I'm 99% it would sail through but its just the hassle of taking it to get done, and its not as like its almost up, its got over 6 months on it.

6. The car is fitted with the rare Recaro option interior, how desirable would you find that over one not fitted with it, ie 99 %of them
Any thoughts appreciated.

First off i want your filter if its for a 2.0l 8v, dont think it makes much difference really, but if i was selling i'd put the standard air box back on , includae all receipts to prove that any servicing was done, negotiate with the tax in the sale and let them sort the mot out hope this helps ans ELL ME YOUR FILTER LOL!!!!!!!!!

Lol, its for the 16v, and I'm sure they are different part numbers.

1 - filter i think i'd leave it and offer original but i dont like em anyway myself

2- always keep receipts even the small ones - helps to have any sort of history

3- if ya worried about the stg wheel take it off :) ill have it :)

4- same quandry with mine as i will have to insure it and its paying good money that you wont claw back on a sale for sure

5- as above - try it as it is = new buyer will have to tax/test it at some point anyway
