Hi everyone.
At the end of month I'm going to be selling my Ibiza.
When I bought it it was completely standard, still is apart from the K+N 57i kit to improve throttle response.
So a few questions.
1. Would you rather buy one of these cars with the standard filter in place, or one with the 57i kit on, i Could of course supply both, but if someone was going to be put off by the filter, I may aswell remove it and ebay it.
2. The car has a full service history, and is not due a service. However, I always change the oil and filter on my cars every 3-4k, I've just done myself this so would you include the reciept for the oil and filter in the s/h, or is this a bit pikey?
3. A friend was making a track car out of his mk3 cupra, so I bought the steering wheel and airbag out of it as its not better looking and better to hold than the mk2 item, all the wiring was direct swap, the airbag light completes its check process as usual, so would this change put you off? I kept the old airbag unit from the old one as proof that it wasn't changed because it was crashed.
4. The car is due tax at the end of the month, so would you stick 6 months on it before advertising, or try and negotiate this in as part of the deal with the new seller?
5. The car has MOT until July. Would you guys bother putting it through another test so you could sell it with 12 months on? I'm 99% it would sail through but its just the hassle of taking it to get done, and its not as like its almost up, its got over 6 months on it.
6. The car is fitted with the rare Recaro option interior, how desirable would you find that over one not fitted with it, ie 99 %of them
Any thoughts appreciated.
