Cable Drivers & Software Help

It was recommended I buy a USB cable to use with Ross Tech VAG Software

The cable was delivered with a small CD with the drivers on which I installed.

I then proceeded and downloaded VAG software & Installed

Went into the program when link with my ecu and laptop and I get the error message "Ross Tech Interface not found"

So i'm guessing Drivers or Software i've downloaded is wrong!

Can anyone help!

youve got the wrong one, you need download either the 409 or 303 to work with that cable.
the veriosn only works with the orignal ross tech cable.

Just read this page carefully and then proceed to the archives page to download one of the stone age versions...

Of course you also need to make sure the 3rd party USB<>RS232 emulation driver is properly installed and the port is correctly linked to be accessed by VAG-COM. You may want to contact the people you bought from too, they should know what's needed to get the stuff they imported from China working.
