Callipers starting to fade.

Hi all. My red callipers on my cupra are starting to fade and i am wondering if anyone has any tips to bring the colour back to them without re painting. Thanks.

only thing i can think of mate....which i do to mine is take the wheel off, give them a good clean and then polich them. brings them up nicely

but i think ultiamtely they will need repainting to get the original shine they used to

wheel acid is good for this although you dont want to leave it on too long or the paint will come off a bit if its strong stuff,diluteing the acid would prevent it if it is strong you know its strong if it kinda burns your hand.

it was a thew years ago i used it so im not sure if the really strong stuff is still sold.
either way it works well.

i refurbed mine the other day,just sand the calipers for a bit the paint

The Brembos are easier to work with B3LSY as they are flat. The AP Racing ones have the raised Seat Sport writing which is painted a different colour so harder to just re-paint
