Hi

Just bought my cupra 2 weeks ago so got it booked in for Cam Belt, Water pump (metal impella) and full service its not due one but i want to know its been done if you know what i mean. Ive been quoted just under £500.

Does that sound about right?

Chris

Just a word to the wise, I've heard that you should avoid the metal impellor.

apparently although they last longer, if they do go (and they do) they take the whole block with them.

Plastic in block = problem
metal in block = catastrophe

Hmm never thought about that but most people have always said go for the metal impellor.

Like most things every1 has a different idea.
