Cam info please

hello all, hope there are some clever people out there to help me.

i have been told ( yeah thats what they all say) that a cam shaft from a non turbo 1.8 will replace the exhaust one from the 1.8 20vt to give good gains, with remap, and allow a higher rev potential.

has anyone here had, done, heard or know anything about this as im guessing its not going to be a cheap option to do.

local tunning company mentioned it a while back and was just investigating a bit further. i have my doubts and for the money im sure there are better options.

dont really hear much of the need to replace cams until the standard ones cant cope. majority of BT boys dont seem to bother

didnt think so, i havnt heard or read about it on here before.

oh well, research over, back to raising turbo funds.
