Can charging sation POIs be removed from inbuilt maps?

Funny one this. I have a León that is a mild hybrid not a PHEV, but the inbuilt map shows me charging stations as nearby POIs and suggests them when I search for things. It's not a major problem, and I usually use Waze, but it's weird and the sort of inconsistency that bothers me... Is there a way to deselect POIs? Obviously, I can't find anything in the settings, but there a lot, so perhaps I missed it.

I was parked up yesterday opposite chargers which showed in my Nav so thought I'd try. Into Nav settings and POI display (under Basic Settings) and charging stations was unticked? I ticked it, went back to map then settings and unticked it again. The charger still showed? Maybe its a permanent display, in which case why have a tick box and its showing on the map doesn't discriminate as my car is 1.5 (150PS) manual.

Yes, it's also unticked for me. And if I click on Suggestions on the map, one of them is usually a charging station.

Maybe it's to try and subliminally convince ICE drivers that rage anxiety isn't justified!
