3inch turbo back with sportscat
SFS TIP
Upgraded panel filter

My question is can I jump straight to stage 2 in terms of remapping? Car is currently standard in terms of playing with ecu.
 
you may need a 4 bar fpr but i might be wrong.

i am planning to go straight to stage 2 in the next few weeks

i have front mount, 3"dp decat, cupra r cat back, jetex filter and a ebay tip so hoping for healthy figures ad its flowing 164 g/s allready.

ill post them after its been done. just hope mt clutch is up to the job feels high but has never slipped.
 
had it mapped today @ amd tuning.
before: 187.8bhp / 177.4 lb/ft
aftrer : 219.1bhp / 242.8 lb/ft

non stop rain so not had a change to play but i was accelerating down slip road in 3rd and it just spins up good and propper...

was hoping for more from stage 2.. specially as it seemed to b healthy std. may have a boost leek..
also they used the 4 bar fpr aswell.

mods:
fmic, tip, jetex filter, 3"dp, decat, cupra r cat back with no silencer forge split r on full recirc, 4bar fpr
cant post the graph as im on my phone will do it wen i get to a pc!
 
I'm surprised you didn't get more than that...very surprised!

I'm running a stage one custom map with no FMIC and made more (see sig)

Im not slating anyone at all just seems a bit low
 
Very odd. What year is the car? What's the mileage? Has it been maintained well?

Don't mean to be mosey just got me thinking :)
 
cars done 100k engine is bam head and block was out a auditt225 done around 60k
BAM 1.8 20vt (180 ecu + ancillerys)
K03s Turbo
Silicone TIP
Jetex airfilter
FMIC
Forge*split-r divertor valve.
Cupra R stainless steel exhaust system - modded to remove mid box.
Decat
N112, SAI & N249 Valves removed

may try putting in new sparks / coilpacks. and boost leek test.
another thing wen i removed old intercooler it was full of oil map sensor was covered in oil also.
from prev engine/ turbo dieing so may summin to do with all that oil being blown about the engine!
 
Your engine mods are virtually identical to mine. I've got a pipercross filter, TIP, N112, N249 and SAI removed, 3" Downpipe decat and system.

The only 2 differences between ours are I am running 2.0L TFSI coilpacks, but I wasn't when I had the map put on, and the mapper.

Puzzling how one hits xxx figure and another is so different when so similar.
 
yea unless they diddnt stage 2 it n just put there stage 1 map on it.
i dunno its getting on my tits now lol.
