Can I go from standard straight to stage 2?

split r are valve, not the best valve to use why trying to make max power. before i get slated for saying the split r is crap, its a valve made to leak air (boost leak)
any air lost will mess up fueling. even if you dont hit limp mode, performance wont be 100%

the splir r valve is on full recirculation mode so i diddnt think it needed adjusting? i may try putting vent on and setting it to stage 2 which i think is around 25 clicks.

yea unless they diddnt stage 2 it n just put there stage 1 map on it.

Have you phoned them/posted a message on their page on here? I was thinking about jumping to stage 2 with similar mods, but I'd be hoping for early 230's.

If you were 187 before (7 up from standard) and now 219 (9 up from their quoted stage 1), it does sound like a stage 1. How much did you pay?

Sure it's a BAM engine code? If it is it's lower compression.

If you were 187 before (7 up from standard) and now 219 (9 up from their quoted stage 1), it does sound like a stage 1. How much did you pay?

It takes more airflow to make the same power. So, it can do.

Ah, well I'll be keeping a close eye on this one! Hopefully they've just done stage one (£300 is their stage 1 price isn't it?). I read a fairly old post on their section and they quoted some fella just over £400 for a stage 2 (without having stage 1 with them previously).

If it is just a stage 1, then I'd be dead chuffed with 219 bhp!!!

what should a stage 2 lc booat to? mine peeks 20 psi n holds a bit till 5k then slowly drops to 10/11 psi at 6k+.

ps. just blew top boost pipe off going to dv grrr needs a better clamp. **** me up.

My stage 1 LC peaks at 20/21psi and holds around 16/17psi.

Mine put out 210 on the diagnostics with knackered turbo seals and running rich (auq180) guess somethings up with yours as ive been told ill get aroud 225 when its setup. have you checked it for codes? did the tuners not mention or say anything?

no they diddnt say there was any issues no codes and they mapped the sai out aswell.
need to get my self vagcomm and do some investigation.

Where abouts are you from ? maybe someone local could help you out with vagcom.

The only other thing i can think of is you were sold wrong parts, i know someone who ended up putting a smaller replacement turbo on a auq skoda

bloody hope not i diddnt buy it previous owner did got recipts for it can i see any code to identify if it is correct turbo?

will i get any engine check issues ? the downpipe and the other part of the point both have sensors.
do i really need a software. the mecanic said that i will get engine check issues. and my car might loose power.
my car might start running rich and a whole bunch of stuff.

Christ alive mate! That all from stage 2? My app engined yellow one standard apart from induction and cat back made 212.6! From stage one! Now it's two and its pulling near as damnit 240!
