Personally I think the new Astra looks Leon-ish, especially the back. Still, looks a lot better than the Corsa though. I'll stick with my SEATs though :)

The newest shape astra VXR infact 3 door isnt out yet

Its the original Astra VXR mate

but ye the new Astra does look leonish

I do like the vxr, the only thing I dont like with Vauxhalls is they let themselves down with the quality of their interiors a bit, watch out for the torque steer on that puppy whilst you enjoy it matey....! :)

The interior is a massive step up from the Rattling shed of the FR so it don't bother me

the plastics in the Ibiza were pants.

I like the black touches in the Astra and I have fitted a Sat nav/bluetooth,dvd multimedia unit which looks factory standard so its all good.

And the torque steer isnt as bad on the newer models it was from the first ones to around 56 plate that had it bad, this seems ok. I was used to the torque from the Ibiza anyway

I wont argue there, the ibizas are pants, I hit my head on my boot the other day and gave the interior a wack and half of it fell off

Shame really cause being Vag they have access to some good stuff.....

Might be they have ugraded the plastics then from the last vauxhall astra I was in it was an early 56 plate one like you said, it was a handful under power and the amount of creaks and rattles from the interior were shameful on a car that was 6 months old when i looked at it!

Must be nice to have the power under your foot, thats the biggest thing I miss is having enough power, i get stuck behind so much traffic these days....

It only came with the 19's and privacy glass

I have retro fitted Hella projector headlights with HID's

And ye it is nice to have the power but you can say goodbye to fuel economy when you blast it lol

this is about your ibiza...
did you have any issues with the sub in the boot? i need to find a way of it to stop shifting about

get some velcro that has a sticky back use the rough side fold it so the two sticky bits are stuck together then slap on the bottom of your sub and it will stick to the sub and carpet with the rough part of the velcro if that makes sence worked fine great with mine no movement atall and cost about two pound.
