Hi guys, does my n75 cycle seem okay? Also my maf reading at peak 156.63 divide by 0.8 should be my bhp right? So it works out 195? But my cars standard? Or is it just a rough figure? Aaaand then block 120 is torque right? Does it seem right? Thanks
 
Yeah the bhp is just a rough calculation mate. Everything looks fine in that log to me :) N75 and maf read as i would expect.

Thanks mate, time to log it soon now iv managed to Chuck some tesco 99 petrol in there :) so how close to the real figure would you say as mine is standard? Only mods are listed above with a drilled airbox and panel filter
 
It's hard to say as the calculation changes based on air pressure and temp etc. It's more just a way to get very rough an idea of airflow and check the maf readings are within the right area, rather than being able to work out the power.

So after putting in tesco 99, reconnecting the pipe on top of the DV I recorded the log above, now after reconnecting the pipe, the boost fluctuated between 0.5 and 1 bar again just forward and backwards...also i noticed when I hit boost there is a slight...judder? Like someone's tapped the car from behind or something , would the be a possibility that my mechanic wound the actuator whichever way and it's causing the actual boost to go higher than spec boost which gets me to the situation I'm at?
 
If he has adjusted the actuator then that could well be the issue. It should be left where it is as standard on these cars. All boost control should be left to the ecu via the n75 etc etc.
 
Ffs...got my stat changed today, still same symptoms
So basically had temp sender and stat changed now still getting code 17704...is it possible for it to be the g62? Thats all i can think of
 
Finally! Boost issue sorted, stuck a bleed valve on when I first got the car thinking I'd have more boost...but now I got shot of it and put it back how it should be, all holding boost fine!
