Car not starting?

It will bump start but the key will not turn the car over, the starter motor works i have had direct power onto it and turns and runs the car also the battery is fine, my key will not work the remote locking i have tried re programming key but no joy there is a new battery in the key but, will the remote locking effect it? i thought it should start even if the key wouldnt work the remote locking, or do you think the key chip has broken meaning the ignition isnt reconising the key?

if it was the chip the immobiliser light would be flashing at you, is it?

hmmm, is the light on the dash?, ill have to have a look it beeps at me wen i turn the ignition on? lol
