Car struggles in wet weather

Ok my car hates wet weather if i go through a big puddle it struggles and most of the time dies on me so i have to sit and wait for the engine to dry out and this aint good at like 10pm after work in the woods is this a problem with all ibiza's or just mine???

no all cars + puddles remember its a car not a boat

new cap/rotor arm and a spray around it with duckoil or wd40 etc will help but won't save you if you insist on drowning it

ok mate thanks for that i dont drown it on purpose the way i drive is always flooded when it rains alot so i have no choice so i will do those things ya said about Thanks

i had that problem once and the rac man kindly said i needed a new coil pack but i didnt have the cash on me so he put my old one back on and touch wood it has never happend since

i did go through a huge puddle a little to fast so my chap told me lol

One of the joys of owning a mk2 ibiza, it rains or its slightly damp and it won't start. Some love and WD40 and usually gets em going.
