I think he's say all cars made before 2008. Car tax what a load of @&£?.
car tax is a joke, just count yourself lucky your not in a 53+ top bracket vehicle (£470).
uk government is trying to force everyone into an eco-box or off the road all together, its not only car tax thats gone/going up. you got insurance going up every year (youngsters hardest hit), petrol and diesel on the incline and Mot's rules being tightened up every year.

We need a source from the OP but everything I can find relates to banding rather than engine size so hopefully I'll get out of it.
Youve got to admit its pretty clever.... give you money to dump your old car then tax you to death on your new purchase!

I don't understand why someone would buy an electric car, they run out of energy too quick, they take ages to charge, and there are hardly any charging points.

Words can't start to describe how angry this sort of thing makes me, especially on a forum I would end up banned. Just because they ruined thia country the poor working class have to pay for it. Absolute bunch of #@*+s
The bank of England has messed with the inflation rate for some time now its just the government try to recover some of the money they've pi@#ed up the wall and make good the massive defisite in the budget, they are just taking the pi@# and robbing everyone to make good there mistakes.

couldn't agree more tho. motorists in this country are milked for every penny possible. this countries finances go tits up and one of the first things to increase is fuel duty makes me feel sick when I used to pay 80p a litre at the pumps back in the day.
as for road tax well I could be here all day listing the many crators...sorry potholes that line the roads of harlow!

Also trying to get us to pay each time we use the motor way using cameras... No thanks! M62 by me is 50nph because of road works that's been the for like ever! And if we want to get places quicker and are willing to pay we'd youse the ****ing toll roads!
Need to look around more I got £1300 for insurance on my LCR two weeks ago for my 20th mate
