Carbon monoxide level fail emissions test

Car failed massively on carbon monoxide levels today. Max level is 0.2 mine read 1.1
Car is stage 2 badger5 with 3" downpipe into sports cat. Im guessing the cat wasn't hot enough when they tested it and it just needs a good thrashing before they probe it. Does anyone know what the typical drop is between a col cat and a hot cat? Meaning will my 1.1 reading come anywhere close to 0.2 if its been warmed up properly

It may drop in from there.
Maybe speak to the test centre about (you) taking it for a decent warm up then letting them test the emissions but not with the car registered for a retest. And see how it gets on.
