Carlube engine oil.

Seen 4 litres of vw fully synthetic tripple r down asda today what meets 504 and 507 requirements all for £12!

Had no probs with it in my old tdi... Any1 know if its anygood??

its cheap for a reason. better off putting treacle in the engine. does not last long compared to castrol oils, carlube lasted about 2 months before i could feel performance loss where as the castrol is still working very very well 15k later.

I used this on my last oil change fully synthetic stuff

Did 2k miles and it was jet black!

Didnt really like it

Only Carlube I used is the cheapo mineral stuff for breaking the engine in, (one change after 20 miles and another after ~300) wouldn't dream of putting it in. Get yourself some Mobil1, Millers CFS or Motul.
