Cars Booked in

Got the car booked into the spray place on the 17th (there very busy). Getting the rubbing strips, wingmirrors and door handles plus all stone chips and scratches taken out. Costing £150 which I didnt think was 2 bad. Shall post pics when its done. Has anyone else had this done?

aye I was inpresed with it, have to say the bloke who is doing it is amazing. Honestly even looking at some of his work at the garage was spot on so am dead excited lol.

soudns wierd but i like my strips on my car, ( ibiza sport in crono yellow ) adds something to it, and if they was yellow it would look too yellow imo : / but i suppose on a greyish car like guiness's would look pro

I agree - I always likes the black stripes on my red FR - helped define the lines of the car IMO

i think leaving the strips black looks better imo! if i had all the stone chips taken out of my car it would seriously be a respray

lol, yer av got a few on the front, also going 2 ask for a quote 2 take dints out roof and if thats not 2 much al get that done 2, but Im not really botherd about them lol

Should look good guiness I am still waiting for my bonnet to be replaced and resprayed by insurance. I managed to blag a cupra spoiler on the back instead of my standard one still waiting for a date though. Getting my side strips done at the same time!

Very very good price. Mate of mine paid £100 just to get one paint chip fixed on his car!

Need to get my two stone chips sorted, where are you taking your car?

im getting it done at "paint n place" there motto is "u bend it, we mend it" local company they are bloody good though some of their work is amazing
