cd changer has poor sound quality

Hey all!

Need some serious help I bought a cd changer from ebay that came out of 05 leon fr tdi, and put it into my leon fr tdi same year. The changer works and everything its just that the sound quality is awful. On the cd changer wiring that came with it as mine doesnt have it as standard I just got a blue plug 8 pin that plugs into the back of my head unit. Any ideas why I get such poor sound quality from the cd changer? btw I have a single cd aura head unit. I was thinking the cable that arrived with the changer wasnt right?

Any help would be appreciated, Im banging my head against a brick wall at the moment!

so it only came with the blue section of the plug? is there space for more pins on the back of the cd player?
lue the plug in the back of mine has a blue yellow and red part full of wires goin into them

hey jay thanks for your reply, I only have blue connector, no others, but there is space for others, and researching it seems that many other people seem to have the other two colurs you mentioned. a lot of the cables ive seen on ebay only have the blue connector and also not sure what connectors the cable comes with if you get it off SEAT. I just dont want to buy another cable if thats not the problem, even though it probably is! That was all the person selling it on ebay sent it with, so assumed it was all there that I needed.

You can probably get an adapter from Halfrauds for like £10 or alternatively you can do some wire cutting yourself...

Its an official vag cd changer, what would an adaptor do? why would i need to splice some wires myself?? argh im confused!!!
