Firstly Ive done a search but cant really find the answer im after.

Ive traced the cable back and just as it goes under the carpet theres a rectangular connector, is this the standard connector?

Should there be a round connector as well? If so where?

Last question, On the headunit end what is the connector like?

I would also like a pic if anyone has one. I've a connecter in the boot, but it looks like a rectangle connecter that you use to connect speakers to a head unit, and not the round plug I've had on previous changers. Is this rectangle plug for the CD changer?

Yep, definately the rectangular one located drivers side wheelarch under the carpet. You should be able to push out 3 round holes for the fixing mountings for the VAG changer - although the fixing lugs are a right b*****d to fit!!
