Decent quality one - Stealer and the price to go with it.

Lesser quality one (from whats been said by a few people) - ebay, with a price to match!

I got mine - original black leather arm rest from one of the guys on here. Always worth having a look in the for sale section. Also have seen a few originals on Ebay rather than the copies. You should be able to tell the difference as one you will will find many of and the other (original) are few and far between but keep looking and you will find one like I did.

Oh and they are easy to fit. And that is coming from an amateur.

If you do a search on the forum for armrest then you will be able to see pics of armrests fitted to Leons already and even fitting guides.

Centre Armrest

Hi,
As soon as I got the Leon, I fitted the Seat Armrest...piece of cake to fit...well a couple of hours anyhow!

Now I have swopped the cloth interior for an all singing and dancing electric leather version, I need to change the armrest for a leather version....anyone got a leather SEAT one for sale, or for swap? I think =just the top cover will come off, so not the hole armrest....????

are the ones from the audi a3 or golf mk4 the same fitting ?

I believe that the A3 / Golf ones are the same.

You can always try a local scrapyard to see if they have any wrecks that you can take one off.

Just make sure you get the fixings as well as the armrest itself (metal bits that attach to the car...

You'll probably find some on the bay to match your interior.

Would be interested in your cloth one when you sell...:D

The odd one pops up on ebay every now and then. The Audi A3/4/6 & Allroad, VW Golf/Bora & Passat will all fit as far as I can tell. I was in an Allroad today and it looked no different to the one in my Toledo. AS Striker Boy said the top bit (lid) does seperate from the whole armrest, so maybe worth finding a cheap one from a scrappy and then getting a shinny new top piece if they are available.

It is sometimes if your on/off with the handbrake a lot yeah... but I do a lot of motorway travelling and found it quite handy with the Toledo... I ran my iPod cable from my headunit under the centre console and up into it too. :)

The A3/S3 ones are slightly shorter with a flatter squarer end (so they dont foul the handbrake as much) than the Golf4 items... Besides, the Golf ones seem to come up for sale much more often than Audi ones.

Don't go for a replica, they are generally rubbish and end up squeaking and the lid catch breaking, go for a genuine item.
